Aran pattern gives our knitwear its distinctive and internationally famous look. Our traditional heritage stitches are inspired by celtic art and our island. Each stitch has a different meaning which reflects keys elements of our ancestors lives on Aran.
Aran is knit using Aran stitches from lofty Aran yarn. 3 strands of spun wool are wound together to form the yarn, then knit using our traditional stitches to give Aran its unique quality, warmth and texture. Aran is built to give a lifetime of comfort.
Every Aran is always knit from pure natural wool, resilient, renewable and degradable. At Aran we are inspired by our environment on the Wild Atlantic Coast of Ireland and continue to implement sustainable practices in everything we do.
