Kenny Clan Aran Poncho
The Kenny Clan Aran Poncho has a trellis central pattern flanked by cables and honeycomb rope. The side panels and sleeves have the blackberry stitch. The trellis stitch represents the stone walled fields of the Aran Islands. The blackberry stitch is symbolic of the holy trinity and the cables represent good luck. This beautiful Aran Poncho has been knitted in the traditional báinín (pronounced ‘baw neen’) colour, the natural white of the wool. It comes to you complete with a clan history and crest. It is made of 100% pure new wool, is water repellent and breathable.
NB: Model is wearing sample Clan Aran Poncho (not this clan pattern) for demonstrative purposes
